Abbie Fudge is the founding director of Changing The Future & a nationally recognised youth practitioner, trauma- informed specialist .With over a decade of frontline experience & a BA(Hons) in Childhood &youth studies, Abbie brings specialist practice in trauma-informed care, Protective Behaviours, safeguarding & supporting those with complex needs. 

Abbie's professional practice is powerfully shaped by her own lived lived experiences, having faced many of the same challenges. 

Her professional expertise spans education,alternative provison, community outreach, social care & therapeutic mentoring . Covering a broad range of complex area's including:

* Special educational needs (SEN)

* Bullying & reintegration

Abbie is  a passionate advocate dedicated to  promoting young peoples's rights creating safe, inclusive environments where young people are seen, heard & supported.

Steve Crump is a passionate and multi-skilled leader with a background in community development, adult education, performing arts, and social justice. With extensive experience across the voluntary sector — including with Feed the Hungry and local food banks — Steve has supported some of the most vulnerable in society, helping individuals regain dignity, stability, and a renewed sense of purpose.

His background in the performing arts and adult education has enabled him to deliver creative, empowering learning experiences that build confidence, self-expression, and connection. As a mentor to aspiring entrepreneurs, Steve helps others recognise their own value and potential, turning ideas into action and experience into opportunity.

Whether through teaching, creative engagement, or community outreach, Steve is driven by the belief that everyone deserves the chance to feel seen, heard, and purposeful. His work with Changing the Future reflects a deep commitment to equity, compassion, and transformative support.

Mariama Njie-Ceesay is an accomplished leader with over 15 years of experience across the commercial, not-for-profit, and higher education sectors. Her expertise spans strategic leadership, business development, programme design, and social impact, all grounded in a passionate commitment to building inclusive, sustainable solutions for underserved communities.

As an advocate for purpose-driven enterprise, Mariama is dedicated to helping businesses, entrepreneurs, and organisations achieve growth that not only benefits their bottom line but also contributes positively to the wider community. She works to create opportunities for individuals and organisations to thrive, with a focus on social justice, equity, and ethical practices that drive long-term, meaningful change.

Mariama’s work extends beyond the business world — she has provided direct support to asylum seekers, refugees, and women in refuge services, helping these individuals rebuild their lives and regain their independence. Her role in these sectors has allowed her to champion human dignity, voice, and opportunity for some of society’s most vulnerable groups.
